Klondike Dog Olympics/Dog Social - Just North of Dayton, OH
3rd Annual “Klondike Dog Olympics” Dog Social – January 15th The Miami County Park District will have its monthly Dog Social on January 15th from 1-3 p.m. at Hobart Urban Nature Preserve, 1400 Tyrone, off of Dorset Rd. in Troy. If your dog is nice and plays well with others, bring them to the park. Participants can enter the “Catch the Snowball Contest,” “Hide the Treat in the Snow” and “Bury the Dog in the Snow Competition.” Don’t miss this fun event! Please remember owners are responsible for their dogs. Please clean-up after your pet. Meet at the entrance next to the parking lot. Directions to Hobart Urban Nature Preserve: Hobart Urban Nature Preserve is 82 acres located in the heart of Troy, OH near Main Street. The entrance is located at 1400 Tyrone just off of Dorset Road. From I-75 - take exit 74 (St. Rt. 41) east to Dorset, turn right on Dorset (south); take Dorset to Tyrone, turn left (east) at entrance sign on Dorset. | The first year they had this they didn't think anyone would show up as the weather was worse than it is now but eight people showed up. Last year over 30 showed up. Should be interesting how many show up this Sunday. I'm sure to have photos. Vance |
