| Ron, thank you so much. I can't even tell you the depth of my feelings. Through the weirdness, happiness, friends that I've made, to even the complacency and comfort of just knowing that you all were here during the good times and the bad.. Oes.org has been a lifeline, only to be realized at the most horrible time of my life. How would I have gotten thru the loss of panda without you? This group of breeders, sheepdog owners and most of all, friends, has not only made me a better sheep owner, but a better friend. Life goes by in a flash of a moment. My life and Panda's has all been worth it and more. Hopefully, I, in the future, will have more to contribute with another beautiful sheepdog that I can share with you all. I found this site looking to help me with an obnoxious puppy and I continue to belong for the friendships and love... Xo, Darcy |

| Thank you Ron...for all the time, patience and loving care you give to this forum. I agree with everyone about how great this forum is...I can't tell you how many times I have come here to get suggestions, comment, help with problems and issues. AND...it be able to share stories, funny ,happy experiences with people who I KNOW will not think I am crazy, weird or a little off, because of my love for my puppers. All the people here, totally understand, accept and love every aspect of this wonderful breed!! Words are not enough to express my appreciation for all your time making this one of the most detailed site ~~I hope you know how many people you have helped. I will be here forever!!!!! Too many friends~~UNconditonal friends here!!! ............all because of you!!!!!!!   |

I can't believe Frank will be 8 this year!!  ) You all have been there for me, armed with many answers for need-to-know questions! Glad to have made such nice shaggy friends too! |
| Thank you OLD Great One for this forum. I've "met" a great group of lovely dogs......and some pretty good uprights as well...... And thank you to all who keep this forum very civil......slams and slaps are a rarity. This forum is our "upright dog park" where we can get together, bark a bit and enjoy ourselves. susan |
| Wow, 10 years. I came here 5yrs ago looking for help with my puppy Simon. Got hooked and have hung around since. This is the place I come to for help, happiness, sadness, and just to share with so many others who may or may not share the same interests. I love it when others share their lives here and you really get a feel for how things are going with them. When one of us suffer, everyone rally's around to help in any why they can. It started out with a sheepdog and it ends up with FRIENDS all over the world. Thank you Ron and Joan for helping me make friends and for everything you do here. |

| Thank you Ron...I love this forum...it gives me my Oes fix...brings great memories back of my two Oes...my back problems made me the Mom of two wonderful Tibetan terriers but I still want an Oes...not good right now but I still want one...forum has even helped me with my two especially Rosie with her Cushings and bringing Maggie in as a puppy...love this forum..great people and great OES's! |

| Thanks Ron so much - and all the work that goes into making this such a great place to stop in! I dropped in when we lost out 1st OES Ollie....and was hooked ever since! Amazingly, I have met in real life so many of you....and as a credit to all, each one was just the same fun and great friend as they had been as a "cyber friend". |

I registered myself as Admin and Joan as the second user. I think then I made a post about the forum on the OES-L and about 30 folks came on over to dip a toe in. An early "adopter" of the forum and a huge help to us as Jake was aging was Kevin Zimmerman. Some early, high posting members were gumbo41 (Robin) and casearoo (Chelsey) and Saulmr (and idania (Danita)!) and then late in 2003 things really started to form a "critical mass" of people and began to get active after almost 2 years of being up and running with the joining of members like Marianne and Agingright (Carol) and Sheepieboss (Susan) and el Gato and HeatherRWM and VerveUP and WillowSprite and Mandy and Kim and Joahaeyo and floofdog (jil) and sixpence (Julianne) and Kristen and Betsy I don't want to miss anyone so I really shouldn't continue ... Most of the 4700+ members have just drifted away and moved on with their lives. Sadly some left angry with me (and some in a huff!) some just were unhappy with the world. A few that I know of have passed on. If you take a look at the members directory, memberlist.php it's sorted by join date. Just scan down the list and look for folks with lots of posts and their names -- you will still recognize quite a few! I really miss some members who have disappeared, and I'm always very sad when I think that they don't pop in even once in a while to say "Hi" after being such an important part of my life and of the community and in some cases for such a long time. Sigh. I think I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and get a mailing out to all the members... and actually come up with a way to deal with the 2000 bounces I'll get. Keep your email addresses up to date! |

| #3383 here. Goofy stats like these are what I love. It wasn't until just looked myself up that I see that I'm now ranked as a "Big Brusher". Ron, what are all the 'ranks' and the post count required for each level? Just curious. I was lucky in that I was invited to preview a friend's hot rod site before it went public and when it did go online, he left the active testers accounts in place. I always thought it was cool that I was there in the beginning of a very popular message board. Incidentally, I was #6 and that is actually my lucky number! Thanks again to Ron and everyone who works to keep this the best board online. Vance |
