That's cute.
Welcome to the forum! My girls don't take them off feet, but they do love socks! |
Max loves to take socks off of our feet, especially my husband's feet when he gets home from work! Maybe he misses him, he also will take my kids' socks off their feet. Actually, it doesn't seem to stop at socks, Max will take my kids' shorts or skirts off, but I am thinking that this is due to the fact that he is still a puppy at almost 20 weeks. |
Welcome! Jasper isn't a sock fan yet, but that's too cute! |
I wouldn't mind that, if it followed with a foot massage. Does he also help putting the socks back on? Oh, I dream......... |
Beau loves socks, too. In fact, I found one yesterday afternoon in the yard that looked like it had been "processed". I hope not -as I hadn't even missed it! But it was suspicious! He grabs them off my feet and then hides them around the house.
Now that foot massage thing....if only he could be trained...good thinking SheepieBoss! |
Pepsi carries my husband's socks around the house. He won't eat them he just likes to have them with him.
He also carries Daddy's flip flops. When he sits down he will rest his head on it. This only happens when my husband is at work. When we all go out Pepsi seeks out an article of clothing from all of us. It can usually be found in a pile in the living room. I guess he misses us Elissa |
Pepsi's mommy- That is so cute!!
Barney doesn't like clothing yet, but our cat, Lenny, loves my fiance's socks and shoes and flip flops. He'll walk around and take the socks to his 'special place' and then we'll just see him licking the flip flops. Yuck! |
Yup... Lennon and Sofa used to do that. Lennon outgrew it and that's how sofa learned the meaning of NO!... They even digged the laundry basket to get them out! |
My great dane used to steal socks and swallow them whole. She pooped them out whole too, just a different color. I was just lucky it never caused an obstruction. |
ewwww Stacey....lol that was pretty gross |
Samantha loves socks also, especially "her boy's". She hasn't eaten one yet, just carries them around and gets them all slobbery...no wonder I do laundry all the time! |
Norman doesn't like socks but he will take scrunchies out of your hair and he can very carefully, with just his front teeth, take my husband's earrings out! |
my old Bouvier had a love of underwear. would find them all over the house. was famous for bringing them out when company was over. I guess she just felt like she needed to bring something to the party. |
My 2 yr old Mac Arthur loves to steal socks from the hamper. He eats them. He's on the Sock Diet. Its really annoying because I am constantly having to buy new socks. |
Sasha has loved socks since day one, especially my boyfriends work socks ewww! She does'nt pull socks off our feet but she will try to pull slippers from your feet.I think Sasha thinks it's a game because when she does it she is so sly, it's like she thinks you'll never notice. |
Clyde just likes to move them. He'll take them from my room and I'll find one in the downstairs bathroom and one in my office. Even when I catch him with one, he's not chewing it, he just likes holding it in his mouth. Little weirdo. |

Yes it was gross, and can you imagine what neighbors must have thought? LOL Seeing me use my garden shovel to pick up multi-colored poos? |
Zoey loves socks too, but she prefers trying to de-clad us of higher priced items like fleeces, shirts, shoes and shorts. Oh, and you're fighting a lost battle if you let her near you when you're putting on a nice leather belt. Ugh. |
My Max loves to get socks. The only problem is he digests them. His other favorite is underwear. He has found and eaten lots of socks and underwear in his eight months of life. He usually vomits them up within the week. |
Funny I should read this thread just now. My son Gabe at 20 months has
the worst smelling feet ever. Last night Zeke, our puppy took Gabe's socks out of the laundry basket and chewed them. I kept smelling these feet, and couldn't figure where it was coming from. Zeke had stinky feet breath. His whole face smelled like Gabe's socks. EEWWWWWWWWWWW! Guess who had a face bath! Shellie |
Be grateful they are passing through. A friend nearly lost her dog to socks, required an emergency sockectomy. Other sheepie owners have reported having to help the socks out the back end......eeeeuuuuoooww! I'd put a lock on the hamper or find a different way to store dirty clothes before washing.
