Is Cambridge maturing?

so... for the past couple of weeks I actually had NOTHING nice to say about Cambridge at all. So, like my mom never taught me  I kept my mouth shut.

today- my dog was a different dog. it's like with the hair graying on his hind legs he is aging
and maybe some sense is making it's way between his ears!

he's been nutty. I can NOT cover up with a blanket. He pulls and tussels, and TEARS it up.
As soon as I take my cover or blanket off... he's fine. Unless it's the bedspread, then he's fine as long as I'm giving him all my attention... otherwise he's putting holes in my king comforter. he has become GREAT friends with his puppy pen. mind you he can now put his front paws on the top of the pen and look at me over top of it!

today though... calm, cool, and collected was my Cambridge. even my hubby remarked that he must be tired.... now we did get a lot of in and out playtime this morning (a lot more going on in the mornings with the boy back in school from the holidays) - so maybe that was the difference. I don't know. I just hope it lasts. ( I know it won't.... many many many more puppy days to come) but it was nice to fall back in love with him today. the sweet, stuffed, goofy, teddy bear that I KNOW he is, deep inside. I saw it. (sigh) happiness

They have these nice days during puppyhood just to keep you hanging on there. Never fear.................you are coming to the age of wondering if his brains fell out of his head thru his ears when he tilted his head.

^^^^^^ yep, enjoy these days.......hell on wheels, er paws, is coming. May it be a short visit.

Think adolescent boy.......sexually maturing and crazy by new hormones, feelings, needs, wants to be pack leader, etc.
Are you sure their brain fell out of the ear? I always thought they came out through the other end :?
I'm so glad you had a good experience - they do keep you going!!!
We are going to find out if Cambridge can visit my son special-needs class at school
