Spanish Food
I have 2 hours to cook something, anyone know any easy (fe ingrediant) spanish dishes i could do?? Im stuck!! |

| Did you google "spanish recipes"? I know food from Spain is a little different than what we call spanish food here in NY - which could mean anything from Puerto Rican, Mexican, etc. I might look up some myself but let me know if you find anything good! |
| When I was in school in Spain my favorite was the potato and egg dish.....tortilla. Have you done flan? Pipirrana......a potato salad with tuna. Gazpacho..probably better for summer when all the tomatoes and such are at their height. Almond cookies........Montecados I think. Let me think some more.......... |

| ah yes, yummie empanadas.....I like apple. Here I see pumpkin quite often. Speaking of desserts, how about churros......basically fried dough. Terrible cold though as they can be greasy. probably not a good How about a Torta de Santiago? It's an almond/lemon custard in crust. There was a bean and sausage soup I liked.......fabada something.....unfortunately if I remember it looked bad, not pretty but tasted good. This is 50 years ago, so I'm amazed I remember anything!! |
