I'm so sorry for your loss of Dudley, and on Mother's day. Go ahead and grieve for your big black nosed fella. He's missing you, too. As you have seen, time heals all wounds, and in time you will still be sad, but you will be able to remember the warm and fun things -the "having"- more than the loss. Joan and I will be thinking of you. |
| I am so very sorry that you are going through this terrible time. 13 years is alot of sheepie love to share, it must hurt so very much. Try to remember all the fun and love you shared and know that your pup is still in your heart and rememberance. And that as sure as there is a God in heaven there are also sheepies waiting for us!!

I'm so sorry for your loss and wish to express my condolences over the passing of Dudley. I've repeated this many times before in this forum but if we could choose we'd love for them to live forever. 16 years ago on Mothers Day I adopted Shaggy from the pound and last year she passed away. I was filled with so much grief at her passing and even now get teary eyed when something reminds me of her. Yet, with her going to the Rainbow Bridge it allowed another sheepie in need to come to my home. Not as a replacement as Shaggy, like your Dudley, is irreplaceable and unique. The Sheepie that came into my home was one that really needed it and thus I felt Shaggy would be proud of her mom helping another of her kind. It's too soon for you at the moment but in time you'll have smiles at memories of his antics and may want to share some stories of him at this forum. Hugs to you Marianne and the boys |
| I am deeply sorry for your loss. Having recently (last November) lost my "baby" at 13 1/2 years, I understand your pain. Take time to grieve and cry those cleansing tears. Soon your memories will all be happy ones and you'll know Dudley is waiting for you at the bridge. |

| I'm so sorry about Dudley. Nine years ago on Mothers Day my husband and I spent the day building a casket for our Flash, he crossed the bridge the following day. It will get easier even though it doesn't seem like it now.
Remember the silly, funny things he did that made you laugh, and all the times he was there for you as you were there for him when he needed you most. |
| I am sorry to hear about Dudley. I remember that feeling so terribly when I lost Muffy, the OES I had growing up. It was the only dog we ever had. Ten years later I got Mopsy when my boys were ten and seven. Just the other day, my oldest son now 20, told me how he feels like he knows Muffy because of the stories we tell. So Dudley will always be with you and you can pass on his memories because dog lovers will always listen. Take care. |
