No snow, but still fun!
We have no snow, but it got to an amazing 48 degrees on Monday  A new dog joined our team - Sasha, the Samoyed. She originally came to our obedience classes, and this fall passed her therapy dog test. Her humans, Joe and Wanda had been dying to try her out in harness. They were off work Monday, so they joined us for a run. Sasha didn't pull much, but she was really happy to run along. As a newbie, having a positive experience is the #1 goal!Wanda and Joe both took turns riding with me on the cart - I think we got them hooked!  From left - Gabby, Chewie, Sasha, Biscuit -   Then Wanda got a turn to ride -  We're all having FUN!!   Sasha ran a bit over 3 miles - we did a total of almost 5 miles on Monday. I hope we have decent weather to go out again on Thursday - they are forecasting freezing mix.  |

| so great that you guys have a new sledding buddy! And Chewie looks like he is having fun as usual. I hope in a month or so that maybe we can try Tonks and Luna???? I'd love to see if they can do it or are into it; I think if Adam could see them at it, he'd be sold on the idea!!!!! |

Linda and Donaven would get a big kick out of Gabby running with 3 OES!..the "real" sled dog in the minority....  You and Adam will also get a kick out of it...it's pretty addicting  I hope the weather is cooperative when you guys come to MN  |
| Tonks, Luna, Chewie, now we need Henry, Sybil and others! 12 dog team! Would you believe NM has the most snow base at ski areas....this past week. With storms in Wash/Ore/Mont and Wyo that will probably change soon. So hopefully snow is on it's way to Minn. |

We have been above freezing during the day for about a week - that NEVER happens here! It is supposed to continue until next Monday - then more back to normal with highs in the teens F. While it is odd, it has saved on the gas bill! It's been 30 degrees warmer than usual  |
