Didn't go pee this morning

Langley didn't go for a pee this morning and didn't go for a before bedtime one either. He isn't a big pee'er he goes once on a walk and that is it. Unlike Laika who pees on everything. But I thought it was weird not going this morning. Has anyone had this problem? I will check on him at lunch hopefully he will pee. But does this seem like a long time without a pee?

That sounds like way too long, especially if you are home and in the normal routine.
This can be a medical emergency - don't wait too long!
Since I have a dog on prednisone, that has to pee like Seabiscuit most days, i've never faced this issue. I'd get him to the vet, if he doesn't pee first thing. It could be a blockage anywhere in his urinary system.

Hopefully, he's just masquerading as a camel.

I am going home for lunch in almost an hour. I will see if he will pee then. If not I will take him to the vet. He only pees three or four times a day usually. Now I will sit here and worry until then.
Oh, I agree. That is way too long without peeing and is a medical emergency...Please let us know what the Vet says...Good Luck...Unless of course he went on the sneak and you don't know it? Hope so... :crossed:
He peed when I went home for lunch. :cheer: I am going to keep an eye on him though. I just moved too. He is very distracted when I take him outside.
Yippee for Pee :cheer: :cheer: He probably is a bit stressed with the move and new surroundings. Is he drinking enough water? Does he seem in any other ways ill?
Seem to be drinking the same amount, caught the little bugger in drinking from the toilet a few times :?
Any chance he's playing games with you and peeing without making a production of it? I've noticed distracted boy dogs can some times pee as they go  Though if you have snow you'd probably catch that ;-)

Glad he peed. Hope he keeps up the good, eh, work .

Very good news! :clappurple:

I wasn't sure if you were pre-move or post-move.
Makes sense seeing you've moved and he's adjusting. Some hold it when traveling if they don't learn to potty in strange places.
I am glad he went potty. I think moving stresses all of us. Good idea to keep a watch though.
Glad he is ok. Baley will sometimes do that and I keep a close eye on him. He seems to have a bladder of steel--he can hold it so long.
The move probably has something to do with it and he is adjusting.
He peed this morning right away! now he has the runs arg! poor lil guy. Good thing I am on vacation I can keep an eye on him.
I love this forum! Only here can we cheer for pee! :cheer: Stress of the move must be causing the runs. Glad that it wasn't more serious issue.
Have a great vacation. Likely Langley is just adjusting to the move and hopefully having you home for a few days will help him to adjust.
