ah. found a pair of dog oster clippers on CL. hope to pick everything up on Sat. I should probably video our first try with everything. Could win $10,000 on America's Funniest Videos! |
You have a really sweet craigslist! I get good stuff, but never that good Yes, the stainless table will need to be made slip resistant. But if it's a good deal, I would get it and get creative. Air Force dryers are good ones. Any model is likely to be good, especially if you have nothing now I would get the model number and then compare price online to make sure you are getting a good price. And ditto the human vs dog clippers - the human ones are just going to be too wimpy. Invest in a good one and it will pay back easily and quickly. |

ruforgvn wrote: so, someone in our area has a brand new grooming table on CL. it's all stainless steel do I need a non skid mat for it? Absolutely! As well as non-skid try to get something that also provides a degree of cushioning. Grooming sessions can become quite long so something a bit soft really helps their comfort and hence how long they will cooperate with you. A blanket folded over or a piece of reasonably thick carpeting can do well over the non-skid material. ruforgvn wrote: also, someone else has a new air force commander dryer... anyone using one of these? last question.... is it true that people oster cutters can be used on the pets too? thanks all! No not unless they are a professional model, otherwise they just don't have the necessary power. And even then it is pretty "touch and go". Thanks and Cheers Carl |
