| We received ours on Saturday! Very cute! My family who was visiting from out of town were here on Saturday and everyone thinks we are crazy I decided to "wallpaper" the wall right above Dahlia's food dishes which are in our den---the busiest room in our house....so she can look at her friends while she has her water/food! I am hoping to do my pics this coming weekend and then I will need to order them. |

| Is it bad to call favorites before the cards start rolling in? I LOVE LOVE Teddy's card!!!! I keep looking at it. Those eyes ...that big ...well I won't say. My kids however are in love with the card from babysheepie. They keep saying, "how'd those dogs put that on? I bet that one is a girl mom." |
As I got on the computer tonight, after coming home and loving my Pru (1st day back to work  ), I had no idea what joining this site would do to me! I have ...in the last 3 hours...cried...or had a huge lump in my throat (Panda's tribute video)...smiled and chuckled (Panda's tribute video and all those adorable costumes and great pics)...then cried for real (end of video, Max's post...and looking at the special Pru I have been blessed with)....and...thank goodness in this order...checked my mail...and more smiles and laughter! I had 3 cards in my mailbox!!!  They are awesome! I never knew how much this forum would affect me and how special I think all of you are! I know I am new, but I look forward to many years of sharing our experiences and Pru's life with you. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the great pictures - I will be obsessed with checking my mail from now on...I can tell  |

| Oh I love the cards! Mine will be coming in time. My mom is in the hospital and my other in law is I'll. Things here very busy and stressful. But the cards bring smiles to me and I bring them onthe hospital too. My mom loves them and the nurses now check with me everyday to see if I have some new ones. Thanks! ASAP I will get mine going |

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!  I just got back from having the cards done. The cards are fine.....but they shorted me 95 envelopes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I called & the girl who counted out the envelopes had 2 bags for me & another person gave me the bag & didn't realize there was a 2nd bag!!!  Means another trip to the store & of course the department is wayyyyyyyyyyy in the back  Oh well, it's the Christmas season & I am going to be nice about it. After all, I used to work retail many moons ago. |

Oh, I got lots of cards already! I am such a geek..I run to the mailbox everyday to see fi there are sheepie cards  And then....I find a few! My cards will be going out in the mail Monday...I swear this is my FAVORITE part of the season..I put a twine line up across my picture front window -- the window s about five feet long and four feet at least from top to bottom...its a BIG window.....I attach each card with a clothes pin and they run all along the front window! Its a great Christmas decoration! aND DISPLAYS ALL MY "SHEEPIE CARDS"! I'll take a pix...looks beautiful and I look at all the wonderful cards ALL DAY LONG.... |

My kids rotate who get to open one every day, and so you know "going to the mailbox" is a big event. They always say "how does yuki and kobuck have so many friends?" I'm not sure they REALLLY "get" that kobuck doesn't even live with us anymore.  |

| Just a heads up...I was NOT supposed to be in my card but...the wind was blowing their hats off and they were jumping around trying to catch everything blowing so I quicklyjumped in to hold them...The card came out okay but I was wearing the wrong outfit! | The cards are the highlight of my day. I am laid up this year, so no running to the mailbox but when someone gets the mail for me that is the first thing I look for and save for last to open. I am terribly disappointed when there are no Sheepies in the mail. |

I have 9 sheepie cards so far Mine are going in the post tomorrow. I have made a mental note to buy the correct size sticker paper next year for the address labels- I ended up printing it out on paper, so today I'm gluing them onto the envelopes by hand!!   |

I am also like a big ol' kid...cannot wait to get to the mailbox! | Got more cards today. I am amazed at some of these cards. We have some very creative and talented people here. Tonks and Luna have just outdone themselves. I am not sure I could get Carley to stand for that but we may just try something next year. There are so many that are just wonderful. I had a repairman here today who was looking at the ones I have up and he just loved them. He commented on how different and creative they all were. This is the best thing about Christmas so far this year. |

| We're receiving so many cards right now! Got Deb's, it's brilliant! We watch that movie almost every year and it was our choice for this year's early Christmas (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=35727) I feel bad we slapped our card together at the last minute, it's a good thing Mady is so damn cute that she can compensate for our lack of imagination! We were opening a big stack last night, and one of them was a "normal" Christmas card from Kim's little sister and family, a very cute Christmas photo of her very cute 3 children. But it's almost a let-down! I was dismissive "Bah humbug! No sheepdogs!" and Kim actually didn't recognize who it was at first! She was staring at this card quizzically thinking "why were we sent a card with random kids on it?" Can't tell her sister that little story, she would NOT see the humour in it! p.s. Allison, haven't received yours yet, so have to imagine mail is slow between Atlanta and Ottawa (though it is fast apparently between Florida and here) |

| My son is here from out of state for Christmas. He grew up with OES, co-owns José with me & owned another 2 of his own previouosly. So he is well aware of how the breed affects people. And even he is amazed at the imagination of the owners & what the dogs will put up with to be photographed for these cards. He's even more amazed that there are this many people sending out these cards! We all look forward to them each day. |

| Every year I have made our Christmas card and managed to get them in the mail under the wire. This year, not the case. The new job and move eliminated the possibility of original cards. I gave up and ordered cards thinking it would be easy after that. I think the company I ordered from is run by the US Congress, OMG what a cluster. Long story short, cards arrived today. If I don't break a leg on the way to the post office they will be New Year cards (Chinese new year for the international folks). I surrender. |

Thanks so much for all of the compliments on our Mahwy Cwithmath card, it is very appreciated. We do spend a lot of time working on it, but I wanted to add that everyone's cards were so creative in their own right. This year more so this year, than the last few years too! And P.S. Allison, I think your illustration skills could beat my Photoshop skills, any day of the week. |

| I just counted mine and I have 49 cards. I got one yesterday and hope more will come this week. I'm going to put all of my cards in a binder when I finally decide to take them down later this month. I love having them up and seeing all the sheepdogs every day! Cindy |

| Hi, I also got Lori's card back. I PM'd her to see if the address on the label was correct (it was). I put the old evelope with the card in a new envelope and new postage and sent it off to her. | That would be me--- and I have no idea why any cards were returned. I call the post office, and got as much run around as if I were playing "Ring around the Rosie".... Could have been a sub carrier- could have been a mix up with change of address for someone else... could have, could have , could have. Our address is 19238 West Darby Marysville Oh 43030 For the last 20 years... We received MANY cards, with no problems, so while I wish I had an answer, I don't. Sorry for your inconvienance. |

| to everyone.... I want to say THANK YOU so much for all the incredible cards. I have NEVER in my life gotten so many cards, and DEFINITELY not ones that made me smile and laugh too! I need to say I'M SORRY. Our photo op with my friend fell through, and with Dean's dislocated arm and my fibro we just never got it rescheduled. I intended to try a NEW YEAR photo... but now I'm just FAT from one of the fibro meds and it's NOT COMING OFF! So, I think I will take pics of puppy stages this year and a family one next year and send a doubly great photo/card if that is okay with everyone? on a side note, it was so interesting to see all the different ways people DO and DON'T decorate for the holidays. I mainly do decorate for my autistic son- he loves the lights. My hubby works for the DOD (can't be more specific) and works almost all holidays. So, the day itself, is not usually all that exciting. No family get togethers, no travel. so... again the cards were really the highlight of my season. I so enjoyed seeing (esp. the people!) so I could put dogs and people together with the posts. I'll probably never make it to an event, so loved getting to "meet" my new sheepie family blessings to all for the coming year- glad to be welcomed so warmly into your midst Lori (and Cambridge) |

How we decorate varies year by year. Last year my sibling cats - both 18 years old - passed away one at the start of December and one mid-way through January. I was so sad that I don't think we did much decorating at all. Some years, like this year, we go all out. We hosted almost a dozen friends, so I wanted it to look nice. Some years its just Adam and I, and I put in less effort. I really liked how everything looked this year, so I may try and keep it up. We also don't do family get togethers, or any traveling. Adam and i don't have any family to spend the holidays with. So I usually tell our friends that would otherwise be on their own to consider US their family. Some years, like this one, we end up with a house full. And other years its pretty quiet. I guess it depends on who can afford to go and stay with their out-of-state relations, or can get time off work to do it, and who can't (or doesn't want to!) |
