Clyde's only gone a couple of times but he's still in puppy coat, which makes maintenance between groomings pretty easy unless he gets intimate with a mud puddle |
She's a swimmer. While she's cute in a full coat, in the summer it's got to go otherwise she'd sink.
This is the first we shaved her in the fall, due to a accidentle run in with FLEAS! First and last time that's going to happen. Bottom line, once a year. I take care of her the rest of the time. 1 or twice a week grooming. |
every 4-6 weeks sometimes for a cut sometimes for a trim but all ways a full bath and brush out, eyes, nails etc
i love my dog to bits but i find it hard enough to find time to go the hairdressers myself let alone groom a sheepie as wiggly as einy my groomer is fabulus einys scared of the dryer so she air drys him in a warm room it takes about 4-5 hours sfor the grooming but it only costss me £25-£30 ($40-$50) annd thats the fulll works if desperate i can ring her up and she will fit a bath in between grooming but he always smells great for 2 weeks and then not bad for a week then a bit doggy so it then back to the groomers lol zoev and einy |
I keep mine brushed in full coat; the groomer bathes them monthly, trims nails if necessary, cleans ears. Last time she did both in 4 hours. |
my groomer lets me go in and use her tools, she doesn't help much, I just do it all myself so she doesn't charge me - what a deal!! |
Now THAT'S a deal! How does the groomer make any money? Volume? |
haha... I'm pretty sure she charges other people, and they don't do it themselves She also knows that I would like to be a groomer one day and she might have me help her out there to get me started. So it all works out quite well! |
every 4 mo's or so, bath, shave and a haircut |
