my dog doesn't shed
so, every time someone meets Cambridge and asks how much hair it around my house I tell them he doesn't shed. they then spend the next 5 minutes petting him and looking down at their hands, as if I'm not telling them the truth. from the people at petsmart! to my neighbors I can't decide if I'm annoyed or amused. does this happen to everyone  |

Yes, this ALWAYS happens to me as well, unless someone is familar with the breed! People expect that you have fur all over the house and that they shed a lot. It is definitely an education!! I don't mind educating though since it isn't a breed that you see very often and people just are amazed at their beauty.  |

I know that when I say that Mady doesn't shed, people say that they want to get a sheepdog. Then I tell them that my house is covered in sand, leaves and sticks that she brings in on that non-shedding coat of hers and they change their minds.  |

| I run into that everywhere I go. I usually say, Ya, they don't shed, but do need a lot of brushing. The way I look at it, I would rather brush them a couple times a week then have to run my vacuum everyday!! |

HAha!! It's so funny . . . we're staying with my grandmother now and she is surprised by the lack of hair on everything . . . but not a fan of the hair-ball-dust-bunny-things, either!! Bingley is an excellent "hair-puller-outer" when he has a scratch!!  |
