The Vet and a tech put him on the table and opps, there went the anal glands, on the table and the floor. The Vet checked them anyway and said one side was empty and he did the other side. Two: I haven't been keeping Simon's collar on because it seems to matt his hair. It worried DH and he wanted Simon micro chipped. Bad mom(me) thought about it many times but never had it done. Now its done. Gar has one already. You know they always weigh dogs before going into the exam room and I though Simon would be about the same or maybe a little heavier. In April, he weighed 63lbs...he's down to 57lbs Since its cooled down, he's been running around alot and with agility and practicing agility and walks...just trying to make myself feel better Poor guy wasn't being a pig, he WAS hungry. |

If only we could read their minds, it would be so much easier. |
Wow - go Simon! He needs to have a little chat with Sybil. I know he's lighter boned than my girls, but she hasn't weighed in in the high 50s since she was a "kid". Great agility weight. Plus thinner dogs live longer. Kristine |
I guess I'm much more anal with weights....I weigh my dogs twice a week when I'm at class... I notice a half pound change with my dogs. I started when we started doing weight pulls (everything is weight based) and it's just a habit now. My dogs love the scale and race to get on it...the hard part is having just ONE on the scale at a time! |
