I have added pictures, and pedigrees, and updated the "Shows" page. I still need to add more recent pics of the girls in the "Our Dogs" section and the "Photo's" section.... maybe today, but probably not....lol.... |

A lot of babies? Just 3 two legged kids, 2 oes, 2 cats.... I guess that is a lot to some... I think the mix needs more oes! |
You have a typo then, you say 4 kids. Do you still have the guinea pigs? |
Well, my 3 and a stepson, who is not here all the time....
We do still have 2 guinea pigs.... Cuddles, who is 6 this summer, and Shippo, who is about 3 months old now. I forgot about them...lol... they live in my daughters room, so I don't see them often. |
HAHAHAHAH!!! So many babies who can count Sorry, couldn't resist teasing you a bit!!!!!! |
6 is getting old for a piggie, ours are 4 and 3ish. The spca couldn't give me an age on the one. They guessed she was 2, and we've had her for 1 yr.
Our's are in our daughters room too, but it is still visible to the kitchen. And they hear everything. Esp when I am getting them veggies. So cute. Has the housebreaking gone back to normal since it's dried up? |
Yes thank goodness, housebreaking seems to be under control....lol.... my little miss priss Dancer just doesn't like to have wet feet....
6 is old for a gp.... average lifepsan is said on most sites to be 3 to 5 years, but I have heard of them living to be eight. I do not think that will be the case with Cuddles however, as last month I discovered a tumor on his side. I am opting not to try surgery or anything, because for one, no one really knows how to treat guinea pigs at any of the vets around here, and for two, he seems happy and in no pain, eating and drinking normally... and is an old boy who doesn't need his last days to be in pain. Shippo is his son, whom we kept out of the last litter, and found homes for all the others, including Shippo's mother, who was supposed to be a boy and wasn't. As you may remember, many died when we first moved here, I think a combination of older food supply losing it's vitamin c potency, and also pneumonia. It was odd that Cuddles never got sick, since he is so old.... he's a fighter. |
Great site Stacey! Dancer and Sky look wonderful. |
Hey folks! I finally added a guestbook to the thing if anyone feels like signing it...
www.lakesongoes.com |
Nice job! It look very professional and (thank goodness) easy to navigate! I think it really turns me off when I see a breeders website that I have to sift through endless links and pages to find the one I'm looking for. Again - great job! |
Great website, Stacey! All 2-legged and 4-legged mammals are adorable!!
Chris PS: Love your new avatar! Did Dani do that for you? |
Nope, I did it.
Thanks guys, the website certainly has been a work in progress! |
Hey Stacey, your web site looks great as usual and I am so glad that Sky is doing so well at the kennel shows. She looks great!
...but what up about Huskies being your favorite breed??!! Just figured I'd stir the pot up a bit. |
one of my favorite breeds |
They are really nice dogs. Quite different from the OES though (except for maybe the grooming). I'll have to steer a friend of mine to the forum that has had husky rescues through the years. They are always trying to get loose and go on a run only to be bribed into a car by a slab of meet. |
