This is easy and healthy. I haven't made it but it sounds good. 5 Ingredient Soup 1 can lower sodium minestrone 1 can of corn 1 can of kidney beans, rinsed 1 can of Veg-All (mixed vegetables) 1 can of crushed tomatoes Mix together and heat. No need to drain any of the veggies except for the beans |
This is one of the family favorites! It is really easy and so good. 1 whole chicken 1 12 oz. package wide egg noodles 2 cans cream of mushroom OR 2 cans cream of chicken ( I typically use one of each) 1 cup milk Seasoning: specialty seasoning salt of choice and pepper Cook chicken until tender. Skim off fat and save stock. Cool chicken and break into chunks. Cook noodles in stock until tender. Do not drain. Add soup, chicken and seasonings. Cook slowly until well mixed. Add milk until soup reaches desired consistency. Slow simmer after milk is added. (I have often added vegetables to this soup to change it up some) |
this makes A LOT: CHICKEN STEWP 4 large chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces 1 onion chopped 2 zuccini sliced into coins 1 bag of frozen corn/carrots/beans/peas 2 jalapeno finely chopped 2 cans diced tomatoes garlic to taste 3/4 bottle of GOOD white wine 1 box of chicken STOCK 1/2 bag of bowtie pasta 1 package of bear creek tortilla soup mix water to consistancy saute chicken and onion together...add all other ingredients except noodles...simmer for 40 minutes...add noodles and cook for another 15 minutes..it will thicken so you may want to add some more water, wine or stock...i like it thick..more stew-y |
