I really love my Cuisinart pots and pans. They do the job very well, have lasted for almost 20 years so far, and look as good as new.

For heavy duty work, I use Lodge cast-iron pans and dutch ovens. I keep them seasoned after each use (just like the directions - imagine that!) and they are the best non-stick pans I own.
I love my Calphalon pans. I got them in th late 70s and they are still in use.
I took a cooking class with Rick Bayless way before he was famous (and when he an inlaw). He hauled his pans on the plane from Chicago to OKC - made me laugh until I used them.
I am actually saving up for the Unison set for the lakehouse.
I have a mish mash and when I had to pare down I only kept what I really liked. I have some Calphalon, All-Clad, stainless from Sur la Table, and Lodge. In looking at the grill/griddle for the stove I by passed all the imports and went straight to Lodge. I'm in love with it as with my other Lodge skillets and griddles. I've not tried Circulon but heard good things about it. I got rid of my Le Creuset as it was too heavy. I even think I have some old Revere but noticed the lids didn't make the packing/unpacking so they may go to the thrift store...they are getting a bit warped on the bottom anyway.
After buying kids moving into apartments starter cookware sets that were nicer than the one I had cobbled together years ago, I decided a few years ago to get myself something nicer and went with a basic cuisinart set, plus a big pasta pot. Hubby bought me a small Emeril skillet which I really like. I also still have my trust old cast iron skillet which will outlast us all and which I would not part with for love or money. I am not a chef, just a regular home cook, for reference point.

Years ago, the first pots I had were revere ware, which was decent then. I still have them and use them.
I have Circulon and Calphalon. I love them BOTH but because Circulon is cheaper... that is by far my favorite and with many of the cooking pots and utensils... circulon has far surpassed my expectations. All of mine looks brand new and ...I do A LOT of cooking. If I had to gift something to someone, it would be my circulon.
I love my Calphalon and I also use some Lodge for good 'southern' cooking. I have a few pieces of Copper that I love as well, especially for soups and stews.
