Can anyone help out Annie? She's over 8 yrs old. She loves to lick her front legs. She won't let me groom them so they were getting matted. I decided to shaved them down. I didn't realizw what skinny legs she had underneath all that fluff. I want to find a way to keep some hair on her legs without hurting her. She's really senstitive with her feet, too. Are OES know for arthritis?

Our dog Jake started licking his forepaws around the age of 8, also at the same time he was diagnosed with arthritis. Perhaps some pain medications, or talk to your vet?
