I am Lori. We ( my husband Dean, teenage daughter Kassidy , and our special needs 7 year old Hezekiah ) We just brought home our first OES two and a half days ago. We are head over heels with Cambridge, and all our searching and patience and Dean's 20 hours of driving, was totally worth it. We have a mini poodle who turns 3 on Christmas. He is sometimes happy to have a new brother and sometimes annoyed, just like real siblings! I'm a SAHM. We homeschool Kassidy, H goes to an autism classroom in our public school system. Dean has a wild and crazy job with the federal government. We stay busy and do have some medical problems, but dogs are my little bit of happy There is nothing like their love and the consistency they bring ( as long as they are trained and well-adjusted! ). I love really small dogs and really big dogs. Which is probably a good indicator of my personality. I'm an all or nothing, great mood or terrible, extreme girl. I can't believe how accurate the temperament testing was. I figured it'd be a decent indicator, but didn't know it would be so "spot on". I'm also still in shock these gorgeous dogs don't shed much. A must for our household. Glad I asked a breeder... I was looking at standard poodles... and by accident came across OES. And the rest is history. I'm totally head over heels for this amazing breed. Nice to meet you all.... lots of happy chatting to come, I'm sure! |

Hi Lori and Cambridge! Welcome form Illinois! Cindy & Teddy |
Cindy- I grew up by you! we lived in Chicago suburbs all during my formative years. I love the area. Fox Valley Mall? I want to go back and see friends there at some point. It's hard with my son. We thought he was going to go to the childrens hospital in Chicago for some testing, but we didn't end up going. Anyway- enjoy the winter that is quickly upon you! Lori |
