I have some basset friends who are a young techie couple. They are computer programmers at a college and avid photographers. This is the image hosting service they use: imgf.us - low fuss & no guff image sharing : a gladstone technologies group llc property |
We use Photobucket. I needed to upload a picture for an online class I was teaching, and it was quick and easy. It's also pretty universal (as is Flickr). Hubby uses it more than I do now - the bike forum he reads doesn't have the photo feature that this forum does. If you're looking for storage rather than sharing, and you don't have enough space on your computer, you might want to just buy a separate drive just for photos. You can get a 2 TB external drive for less than $100. |
I use Picasa - it's a Google site. If you have a gmail, it makes it even easier. Almost guaranteed that you will never run out of room on it either. |
I think Facebook even just for photo hosting is the easiest and best by far. |
Picassa is easier but for some reason i use Photobucket |
