Due to the October freak snow-storm, we lost our power, heat, and water on Saturday. We are on Day 4. The electric company expects we will have it back by FRIDAY! OH MY! So, where are we staying? Saturday night: Home in the dark and cold. Sunday night: Moved into our Roadtrek camper van which has propane, but, was winterized so we can't use the sink or toilet etc. Monday night: Marriott Residence Inn which thankfully takes dogs!!! Tonight: Staying here at the Marriott Side note: We get to the Marriott and we weren't here for more then 30 minutes and I am walk around the corner and run into another SHEEPIE! She is a 5 year old that also lost power here in NJ. Well, that is my story from COLD, DARK NJ! |

Crossing fingers you get your power back before Friday! |
Oh no! I saw that mess you all have out east on the news. Hope you get the power back sooner than later! Cindy |
O no! Let me know if you need anything. We have power just up the road and my school has been off all week so far with no power. I can help. text/call me |
Thanks everyone! We finally got power back late yesterday. There are still lots of people without and I just feel bad for them. This would be Day 5 for those groups. I am glad we got it back on Day 4. Dahlia didn't mind hotel life. She got EXTRA treats/bones and saw lots and lots of dogs. Of course, she was pointed at a lot and people would say.... Oh my, what a big dog! Maybe because she was quite excited and totally being a brat. I wasn't happy with her hallway behavior. |
typical behavior of a child in an adventure. Sorry she was a brat. Glad you have elecricity! |
Glad you are over the worst. Hope you enjoyed the hotel!!! |
Oh crap! we went seven days after Hurricane Irene and it was no picnic...Hope you get your power back soon! |
