I hate technology Recommendations? Things to avoid? Nice features that are worth it. esp for the technology challenged? Thanks! Kristine |

I like the andis agv, thats what i am using now. There quiet, dont vibrate much but they have a power lead that tangles very easy also the small guard over the motor at the front keeps falling off. A really comfy clipper is the moser switchblade. If only all clippers were made in this shape! They do vibrate a little but your not using them allday every day!. The moser switchblade would be my recomendation! |
I have both the Oster and the Andis and the Andis is by far the better clipper. I have the Andis AGRC Power Groom Clipper and it rocks! |
Andis here as well. Can't remember the model name/number, and it's at LeAnne's house. Here's a picture, but the letter are all blurry! |
Dawn - those are the exact ones I have. |

I did do my foster Bunny's total trim (matted and nasty) with them and they worked great. LeAnne uses them to total trim at her house. We've never had a single problem with them - they really were a good purchase! |
Hm....guess I know what I need to do then... Thanks, all! Kristine |
Andis here but remember the lower rpm. Higher doesn't mean better clipping, just the machine gets hotter faster. Ours are big dogs, it is going to take longer anyway, so go with a clipper that won't slow you down.....having to let it cool down. |
