New (albeit small) Grooming Achievement with Benson
After getting a nice long bruise down my thigh from her too-long nails scraping when she jumped, we finally bit the bullet and decided tonight had to be the night. What a good girl!! She laid patiently (with her Daddy keeping her still, of course) while I tried my hand at grinding. We did all the nails on one front paw, and she only pulled it away a couple of times. She got lots and lots of praise and good treats, and doesn't seem fazed at all by the whole process. We'll do another paw tomorrow - maybe even two! Love my beautiful girl! What a trusting little furbaby!  (Although "little" has become a relative term!) |
