Rolling...in the mulch!

Someone...no names mentioned....really has decided they like rolling around in the mulch in the dog yard.

I worked 12 hours, came home and vacuumed...and let the dogs out for evening potties. 5 dogs came in...one was covered in mulch.

:lmt: who??

Looks normal for here! Especially nice for this time of year when they try to decorate themselves. I just wish they'd do this decoration before I clean the floors, not right after!

At least it wasn't goose poop
I bet one of the others threw the mulch on him....lol

Cindy
Yup! Familiar with that look. :?
Similar thing happened just yesterday here only Z key wasn't out of the tub from her bath fro FIVE minutes - straight to the base of the Zebra gress that they love. She dropped down onto her elbows and start grinding the sides of her head onto the earth beside the grass base. Within seconds the sides of her head were black - AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Luckily, since her coat is still real short, we're not blow drying her so she was still pretty wet and most of it brushed out. She does this most of the time after baths...

We really need to devise a means of hanging them on the clothes line after baths so they can enjoy the sunshine and not get dirty..........as quickly.

Ha Ha, that must be it. He will blame it on the others.
Well, I found out the reason - he is out there wrestling with our granddog Poppy!

LeAnne and Keith are on vacation - we have the human grandkids too. We didn't get Martha (Chewie's sister), as she was already promised to LeAnne's friend Geri and family (and she is getting ROYALLY SPOILED!)

Poppy is a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog and she loves to play. She and Chewie are having a BLAST and racing and tumbling all over out there in the dog yard every time they go out to potty.

So at least I know it's just a temporary problem!
Better than manure. Have had that experience too.
Glad it is just a temporary situation not a new behavior! Boys will be boys!

LOL - but took the girl dog to instigate the behavior!!
Rock on Chewie! Rock on! (or would it be roll?)

I agree Chewie is being a very good host. Now, up next is rolling in the leaves!!!!
They got that one covered too

Here is the little instigator - Poppy!

We were at a friend's house in the woods. So I put her on their tie out to play, as I wasn't sure how her recall would be for me - they have deer!

And here with Bre (Poppy is her dog)...

playing, wrestling -

Leaves were pretty easy to clean. :phew:
We don't really have leaves here, as we mostly have pines and fruit trees in our yard.
But that looks like great fun! I forgive him
