That's a HUGE accomplishment!! Congrats!! |
Good for you, you deserve to toot your own horn. That is really quite an accomplishment and something to be very proud of. |
Wonderful! Congratulations, that's quite an acomplishment. What was you paper on, assuming you did a master's thesis (I don't think that's what it's called)?

No, for my program, which is Instructional Technology with an emphasis on Human Performance Technology and Strategic Planning (essentially a lot of organizational/business planning without the math of an MBA ), we do a master's project instead of a thesis. I've been working on it for awhile because it's a progressive project but it's not actually due until the end of the summer. It's a training needs assessment for the division of the university that I work at. Many people lack some serious skills to do their jobs here so this will validate that. I've designed a study and will be doing all the data gathering, designing all the data collection tools, interviewing and analysis by myself-- actually quite a bit of work for one person since needs assessments are normally done by teams.
Lol. It probably sounds pretty boring to anyone but me! I love collecting and interpreting information. I'll probably go back and get my PhD too. Since I work at the university, it's free and it's one building over from me. Since I work for the libraries, I never have to buy books either. It's a pretty sweet situation for me! |
Wow! Butters! That is amazing, you must feel great.... you are living my dream, I am excited for you too! LOL
I have my Science degree, and I would love to go for a Masters, I even have a thesis started....lol.... have been working on it for years really and just keep adding more and more information to work with. My focus has always been genetics, but I know that I could not afford, nor have the time, to go through for a PhD after so I guess I gave up on the dream for my masters. What could I do with it if I didn't take it further? Besides, I can't afford the tuition.... I am so happy for you accomplishing your goal, and so succesfully too! |
Wow that's great 3.99 - WOW! I wish we had an A- at our school. Unfortunatly it's just a B+ then A... it really makes our GPA look bad. |
P.S. Did you just finish with exams? I wish my teachers would get a move-on and put my grades up already. But I did get an A in one of my classes that is posted so far. Very exciting to finally get an A for once instead of a B+. |
Yes, I only had one exam and in my other class I had to put on a 60 minute seminar, which I like to do-- much better than exams! |
My congrats also, Butterstotch.
Quote: I'll probably go back and get my PhD too.
First thing you know you'll be almost a smart as your sheepie |
Maybe I'll even stop peeing the house |
congratulations! thats really exciting, and that gpa is quite impressive! |
