I'm just posting the information for our Fall Sheepdog Day in the Park. It will be our last one until the Spring. Location: Pinckneyville Park 4758 S. Old Peachtree Rd, Norcross, GA Norcross, GA US When: Saturday, November 12, 1:00PM Fiona is organizing it; she can be reached at fionarb@aol.com if you have questions, need directions, or anything else! the following information was on the evite I received, so I thought I'd copy and paste it for anyone that might like to join our happy group! We usually get a pretty good turn out- lots of sheepies and lots of sheepie lovers! It's time again for SHEEPIE DAY AT THE PARK.. the Fall edition. WE ARE GOING TO TRY A SATURDAY!!!!! I hope to see some of the new people I've met this year (some who have adopted rescue dogs from the Southeast OES Rescue), our regulars and those we have just networked with to create more sheepie fellowship. We have a new Rescue Bumper magnet. If you got your sheepie through us we can give you one per car. If you are just joining us, but want to support us, we are taking a $5 per magnet donation. Meet at the dog park at 1:00 until 3 or 4. There are a few more picnic tables to sit at within the dog park these days. You still should consider bringing your own seating. We normally expect around 50 people and 25-30 dogs. This is an off leash doggie park and it is about 4-5 acres gated. Please clean up after your dog. Consider bringing a dog bowl and water as well. Can't wait to see you all! My direct email is FionaRB@aol.com Fiona Bowen PS. I will not be held accountable for any actions by other dogs to your dog or to you or by your dog to others. Enter at your own risk. This event is held in the spirit of a get together and fun for you and your dog. Generally speaking most dogs are well behaved, but not all in the park are neutered or spayed. Directions: From I-285, go north on Peachtree Industrial. Approx 7 miles north of the perimeter you will see a DAIRY QUEEN. Take a right there ONTO S. Old Peachtree Road. The park is about 1/4 mile on the right. At the light take a right into the park for SOFTBALL. I think its the second left which gets you to the parking of the dog park which sits just beside/behind the new covered outdoor hockey rink. |
