Just started antihistmines as per the Vet but seems they take a while to kick in...any thoughts? |

Try a "Baby Nappy Rash Powder" dry the foot with a towel after being outside then sprinkle that onto the pad and rub it inbetween. Will keep that area dry then so the fungus wont bloom. Licking the pads try socks on or soft booties while the antihistamines kick in. Licking keeps the area between the pads moist and can turn into secondary problems if allowing them to keep on licking that area, so you want to stop that all together as well I dont know about human athletes foot creams are suitable for dogs without vet advice to go ahead and use it, but the baby nappy rash powder does help and soothes as well. |
