When the forum book club chose the next book and I went to order it--it sparked a memory about a book I read MANY years ago! I remember enjoying the book so much I probably read it about 3 or 4 times. (sometimes I do that if I really like a book) At the time we were raising our first sheepie--Duffy! That is why the book was so special to me at that time. Problem was...I could not remember the title of the book or the author...but after searching MANY different ways for about an hour-- I FOUND IT--AND wonder of wonders... Amazon had it in stock! The book was written in 1967 --"The Intelligent Dog's Guide To People Owning" --author Roland A. Brown The book is written from the perspective of an OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG--thought you might like to know about it- |

Found it on Amazon! ONE Christmas present down! Thanks! |
Well, of course any such people owning guide would have been written by an OES I can't believe I don't have it in my collection! Thanks so much for the heads up! Kristine |
