It is amazing how much independence a well trained dog can give to a person. |
Good luck and have fun It sounds like a great cause and I hope they raise LOTS of money!! |
What a wonderful endeavor. Ditto on the best wishes for successful fundraising Kristine |
We will be walking tomorrow - Sunday Octo 9th - for their annual fundraiser. I got them new costumes but today while doing a dress rehersal, they got the costumes off in about a second and a half! Ha ha...So we will be walking "naked" with just a head piece of devil ears My mother alwasy said, if the shoe fits, wear it!Ha ha....What can I say, my dogs don't like clothes! |
What a great time walking for the CCI! But it was darn hot out there today! We did the walk and did a bit of mingling but it got very warm. So we took a break under one of the few shade trees. Went back out again to "meet and greet" but my dogs were HOT...drooling, body warm...just hot. So after a few hours, we came home... But it was great to raise funds for this great cause. Did you know it costs over 60 grand to train just one dog? And the people get one free if qualify... Tere is quite a waiting list...Great Organization and great cause! |
