| I just saw that too. He left a wife and 4 children. My prayers go out to that family. He was much too young. |

| You know an individual has had an astounding impact in the world when your 16 year old daughter texts you (from her iphone to your iphone) that Steve Jobs died while she was at youth group and you're in a meeting at church. To which I immediately got on the internet (on my iphone) to confirm. And then said it to the other members of my meeting...who checked their iphones...and texted the news... There are only a very few people in this world who have the kind of impact Steve Jobs has had on the entire world. It's such a shame that he had to go so early in life. |

| A man who did more in 56 years that most do in a long life. Genius, of course. While young, realize he started young. Apple started when he was a teenager.......if he had been 28 when he started and died at 66 or 70 would we feel as bad? I wonder. I also worry about Apple, Jobs was a visionary and I'm not sure the new CEO has that same spark. Let's encourage all young minds, whether it is Apple or Facebook....genius does not begin at 21. |
| I got a bit teary eyed. My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer too, it's really an awful disease. I owe a lot of my creative endeavors to his inventions, and he has impacted how I do rescue work. It saddens me to think we'll be missing out on so many years of his brilliance. |
| Very sad. A genius and a lovely man. I met him once ( a great honour). Loved him all the products and he will be greatly missed. Thoughts are with all his family and friends xxx |
