| I actually met him when I was a senior in high school.( I think at the time he was either having a bad day, or maybe his celebrity was going to his head. (I have never met a man so rude and self important.)) He was part of our artists and authors series our outstanding drama and music departments put on for many years. I really miss the good old days... He is really getting up there- gotta wonder why he didn't pack it in years ago. Shellie |
| Just the way he talks about stuff makes me think he's a cranky old man; a nurse at a very nice nursing facility once told me that cranky patients who have no friends at the home usually had no or few friends when they were younger. I kinda believe that. He strikes me that way. Still I've enjoyed his work on 60 minutes even though he seems perturbed by it and probably wouldn't be much fun to be around. Then again, I might be completely wrong! "Didja ever notice how sheepdog guys are always poking and provoking you and calling you names? Why is that?" |
| Grew up watching 60 Minutes and Andy Rooney. You can tell he's probably cranky. Thanks Andy for the laughs and great entertainment. Won't miss his eyebrows though.  How could anyone look in the mirror and not realize that's a problem? Please men, it's not only women that should trim, pluck and groom their eyebrows. Seriously. |
