My Baby in ER!

My poor little girl Bella was in ER last night. She had been vomitting from about 4 am the night before. Every hour or so...She calmed down and was her normal self. Running, happy, poop okay...I tried to feed her some boiled chicken and rice at night and she proceeded to vomit that within a few minutes. I then took her to ER. They did tests, x rays and blood and said all looked okay. No apparent blockage, blood okay. Sent us home with Pep Cid Ac and some really smelly prescription food....

She ate it okay this morning. Only about 1/4 cup or so...at luchn gave a a bit more...kept it down until about 6 pm...then, vomit! But all along acting fine, made a small poop and it was perfect. No fever...Interested in eating, playing, and just not really acting different...

Not anxious to bring her back to theVet so fast...any ideas of what this might be? There is no way she ate a toy or corn cob or anything like that. She is not outside unsupervised ever, walked on a leash and never alone at home...Any ideas???? The ex rays shwoed an empty tummy  , her esophgus was okay...what could this be?????

I hope she feels better soon.
OH no....feel better bella~
Is the vomit bile, digested food or like the food has been sitting in her stomach the whole time?
Wondering if metoclopramide/reglan might help but maybe the pepcid is similar or maybe there's
a good reason not to give it. http://petsmd.com/RX/Cats-And-Dogs/Metoclopramide

Hoping Bella will feel better soon.

Belle has had two episodes like this over the years. Never did figure out what it was. Reglan helped and it still took a couple of days to get her back on track. Withheld food for 24 hours to give her gut a break, which I normally don't do, but it seemed like any food set her off again and she needed that fasting break to get past whatever it was that was going on. Had to be careful that she stayed hydrated of course.

Fingers crossed that it's just some passing bug. :crossed:

Hope it's just a bug and Bella feels better soon. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
Hope Bella is feeling better soon. I know it is a big worry for you when your pup is not well.

She was able to keep the breakfast portion down and the lunch portion down but at about 6 pm, she did throw up a small amount of yellowish gunk. She was outside playing though and it wasn't a real retcvhing vomit but a burp up sort of regurgitation thing...I called the vet to see what I should do and I waited a while and fed her that prescription diet stuff. Kept that down and fed it again this am and so far is keeping it down.

I will pick up more of the ID prescription stuff. But reading the ingredients, I really HATE feeding her that stuff. Hoping I can wean her to at least some boiled chicken and rice soon :crossed:
poor thing hop she feels better soon dont u wish they could talk
If it's yellow bile looking vomit only with no food content, the stomach may
just be empty. A small treat between meals might help prevent it and help
a dog feel a better.

I searched for info that might help explain it better...
