North Texas Play Date
As a 75+ pound, 9-month old puppy he is a little too big and enthusiastic for most other dogs. We think he would have a great time with others with his size and attitude. He is intact but has never shown any signs of aggression (or submission). He has responded respectfully when put in his place by older dogs. We aren’t looking to set up a big get together, just something where our dogs can meet and play. We’ve been told the local dog parks are not good to go to on the weekends; we have gone to the one off Beach in Ft. Worth several times during the week and it was great. We live 20 miles west of Ft. Worth and are willing to travel 50 miles for a play date. He is not used to open spaces and has no sense of traffic so the place will have to be fenced. We don’t have any experience doing anything like this so can’t offer a suggestion. |

we live in Denton and would love a sheepie play date. Only thing is my daughter is drum major in her high school band and right now is football/marching comp time.  Every weekend in October we will have games on Fridays and marching comps on Saturdays. But keep me posted, I know there a few others up here in North Texas on this forum. |

| We planned to go but have a conflict so gave Stephanie our regrets. Also, Winston is a little young yet for primetime with other dogs considering the Parvo issue we have in North Texas right now. |
I'm up for a fall/spring/winter playdate in Houston or Killeen.  |
