Outside of that, his pees are normal....holds it just fine and pees after meals and play but not too many accidents anymore. |

I find in most people that have reported that problem including myself... it does go away with age and practice. We always ignored Yuki for the longest time before she would have that excitement pee. SHE STILL DOES but it's rare. Like when we haven't seen her a few days because she was boarded and I think my fil comes off very dominant so she tends to do it when she sees him. I think he waves his hands and Yuki immediately pees. No biggie when it's outside. |
most will outgrow it. BUT my sister had a cocker spainel that did it all her 14 years. We always had to pet her out in the grass when we first came over. Her name was cuddles but we called her Puddles because of this. lol But if its just a few drops, then Id say he will out grow it once he learns better bladder control. |
ok....that's what i figured but wanted to see. I definitely haven't been yelling at him or anything when it happens because I would imagine he has no idea. Thanks! |
Our second OES, a male, did it until he died at 13 years. He would do it sometimes when I had only been gone for the workday. If I had been gone a couple days it was worse; wag his butt so much he could hardly stay upright, wimper with joy, and sling pee all over. Didn't do it when he greeted strangers but would with some people he knew and really liked. He didn't do it until he was neutered at 9-10 months though I don't know if it was the cause or concidence. |
