She is not just a pretty face, is she? So talented! |
Oh I know I am being a snoby type dog mother BUT...We have trained herat this place for a while. My Bowie was always a problem there ...pooping in the ring all the time, getting nervous, lunging at the other dogs I was always the "prbolem" parent! Ha ha...Ended up Bopwie had a thryoid and MRSA problem and it was all making him "unbsocialable"...But we never went back there. They really made me feel sort of inferior...And anted me to be a bit rougher than is acceptable to me with Bowie...So we left... We started to train someplace else and the new trainer was wonderful. But she doesn't have the schedule time slots for me to be able to get to her classes. So, I went to observe an agility class back at the old place...I liked the tercher and liked what I saw and how she handled the class. Really one on one...So we went. And Bella was great! We'll see how the next few sessions go...If they go back to being what I don't like, then I'm out of there No one, no trainer, no teacher, no one will make me do things with my dog I don't find acceptable! |
Diane - it's really rare to encounter a less than positive approach to agility training. It's not something you can train by force Have fun! Kristine |
