Today after I got home from work it was the same routine...bark, bark, bark etc. Not at me but at Simon(who's been with him all day) and the world in general. I try to make him stop by yelling louder then his barking to no avail. I had a partial newspaper in my hand and smacked him on the head with it(I DID NOT HURT HIM!). he surprised me by backing off and going into a play bow . He thought this was a great game. I took a couple steps toward him with paper in hand and he play bowed again and ran into the living room. We had a good game of chase going. This is big because he does not know the meaning of play. Bark yes, play, not so much. |

Oh, Gar - you funny, funny boy! Just like he couldn't understand why all of my girls took one look at him and ran for their lives. No rhyme or reason to his behavior, except to him What a dude. Kristine |
I can't wait to see him again. I will chase him around with a newspaper-it could be part of a new workout regime! |
hehehe Love it! |
