2 1/2 Men with Kutcher?
can't believe I missed the first 10 minutes because I couldn't find the remote to dvr it! I should have thought of that part before 8:58 pm tonight. I did really like it a lot (the part I did see.) I think it is going to be great, but it may take a few episodes to really get groovin. I can't stand Sheen -so won't really miss him. Unfortunate situation because it really was a good show before, but how much should they have to put up with? So what did everyone else think? Good for a first show? Is it gonna tank without Charlie? | I love Charlie Sheen but I love the show with Kutcher too. Love his character, kinda dumb like Jake. LOL |
| ack - missed it!! Teaching class and forgot to set it to record.  I like the show, Todd loves it. Wanted to see how it was with Kutcher instead of Sheen. |
| WE LOVE 2.5 men but we have not been impressed AT ALL w/Kutcher. In fact, we think it stinks there are now 2 men playing the pathetic loser role (...at least Charlie was smart and witty). HOWEVER, the last episode was the first time we actually got a few laughs so we're hoping he just needed a little time to sit into his new role. |

| Not happy with the show...and not happy with the last episode of Kutcher sleeping with Mom!!!! Bring back Charile from the dead...Rose did say there was never a body found...They can bring Charlie back you know... |

| I was really unhappy with the first episode of the season, with Charlie's funeral, and after when even his own family didn't seem to care that he was dead. I didn't even watch closely, I was so disgusted. I've only caught a few minutes here and there, mostly in the commercials. Not interested. BUT: I figured out right away that he could be (and hopefully was) still alive and either a) being kept captive by crazy Rose or b) playing dead/hiding to avoid crazy Rose. Never was a fan of Ashton Kutcher, so he's a definite down side to the show, for me. To be honest, the show kind of played out, I think. I wish Sheen hadn't gotten so crazy and stupid. I was ready for the show to end, but wish it would have ended with Charlie growing up, getting married to Chelsea who becomes pregnant (hence Charlie's need to grow up). I really like the performances of Jon Cryer as well as Charlie's mother, Roberta and Jake. Much of the time, the show was pretty tasteless, but also pretty funny. I don't plan to watch any more if they keep Kutcher. I would hate to see Cryer and the rest of the cast and crew lose their jobs, though. |
| Never a fan of the show with Sheen, as I don't approve of that type of character. Sue me. I have watched a few. Watching with Kutcher was much better than I expected, but the whole storyline of the dead brother is getting very tired very quickly. I think it's odd that they are trying to make comedy out of a nervous breakdown due to a brother's death. Maybe it's just me. |
Well, they lost most of my interest when they had Kutcher sleeping with the mother  Then this week, they had the kid being accused of being the father of someone's kid and brother Alan having a nervous breakdown or something...I don't know, the story line isn't funny stuff....I know Charile Sheen's character was not a model person but the story line was always funny...Charile just played himself actually and it added to the humor...I'm hoping they bring Charile back. They can as they never found the body and it was crazy Rose saying she pushed him, or I'm sorry, he "fell" off the train platform somehow... |

Ron, leave it to you to think about that  That's why its TV and not real life! I think the story Rose told was that Charlie "slipped" onto the train tracks and his body exploded into pieces that were never seen...so, of course he can return as if he managed to avoid the train and had amnesia or something and was wandering around as a homeless person until someone recognizes him....See I can write a good story too! |
| I do not remember what caught our attention but during the past episode or two, we did wonder out loud whether they were planning to bring Charlie back, since there never was a body recovered. Charlie Sheen really did burn his bridges with CBS execs and the show. We shall see. This last episode was refreshing in that it did not dwell on the dead brother. Interesting though that it revealed another supposedly "far away" brother, the Gorilla!. It would be nice if Jon C. cold finally catch a break, but I guess it would not be sit-com then. We keep watching. |
| My wife and I both agree that at first the "new" situation was funny, but it is really wearing thin now. It has been slipping downhill for the last month or 2 and really isn't anywhere near as funny as it was with the "Nutjob" Charley running amuck. DUH! |
| I haven't watched it in a while and was wondering how Kutcher's break with Demi would/would not affect the show...Fact is, lately I've been asleep by 9 pm |
