Today she had two very big adventures. I was performing with Samba Laranja at the annual Westcott Street Fair, and hubby and Benson were in the audience. There are thousands of people at this fair at any given time (approximately 8,000 people attend each year), and we expected her to sit with an audience for 45 minutes while we were on stage. Drumming. Loudly! She was a little surprised and worried when we started, but with a quick pet and a treat from Daddy, she settled down within minutes. She even helped us sell CDs! Don't believe me? Here's the proof! And tonight (after she slipped a bit on the stairs), we decided to trim up the fur around her paw pads. Since she's never been trimmed before and never felt the clippers on her feet, we decided to do only as much as she would tolerate. We trimmed all 4 feet! With no fuss at all! We're so proud of our little trooper! |
