So handsome!!! :hearts:
This is one special dog. He is so sweet. So well behaved. The former owners did a wonderful job with him. There has been no transition problems at all. Just likes to chase away the stray cats that are around here. He's pretty proud when he does that. Took him to the vet a couple of weeks ago and she wants just a little more weight on him since he is so tall. She put him back on puppy food for a couple of months. Otherwise he is healthy. Got caught up on his shots since he was due for them and we agreed when we took him that we would do that when we established him with our vet. We are blessed and amazed how lucky we are to have found Angus.

He looks great - I'm sure it's making his 1st family feel good knowing he is safe and loved :hearts:
Oooh! Sweet!
He looks like a big cuddler. I know Pooh Bear must be happy! :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
You know he misses his first family, but having a little girl to snuggle with........that really eases the pain. He is very handsome and full of expression. Be wary of putting too much weight on him, being tall, when he ages and the hips get weak, that's more weight that shouldn't be on those hips. Fluffy refers to hair, not body fat.
We were a little hesitant about starting the puppy food again. We could feel his ribs, which were boney and also his spine. From his previous records there were concerns about him being underweight from his vet. Pooh was a large dog and we know he had some extra weight on him. So we are extra vigilant about Angus's weight.
He is beautiful and looks very happy.

How old is he? Sometimes younger males are slow to mature/put on weight and then suddenly WATCH OUT! Tub alert

Love his markings.

Angus was 1 in May
He is still a puppy. He is adorable. I love the pictures. Sounds like it is a good fit for everyone. :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:
:aww: :aww: :aww: Angus looks so happy and 'at home'!! Love his expression!
How fortunate, a one year old calm boy! This could be a nice long relationship........how fortunate you are........we want many "tales" about this handsome dude........and once again, don't fret about the weight. He may have just had a growth spurt and is moving into his new body. If the spine is proud.....standing up more than usual...yeah, give him 5 lbs and see how that does. I wouldn't go totally back to puppy food, but might mix it in with what he's getting now.
What an absolutely gorgeous, lucky boy.
