How smart is that! I have a friend with 2 danes, so she used twin bed mattresses...never thought of the crib ones for the smaller dogs. Chewie hates any beds or furniture, but for the dogs that use them they should work great! |
with Jack having trouble getting onto his couch, I've thought of putting something on the floor for him and getting rid of the couch. hmmm. |
I have a sheepie and 2 labs, the sheepie has a king size bed she sometimes lets me share, but the crib mattress is the perfect size. my labs love them. |
Not having any kids I've never looked in the baby dept except once to buy a baby gate for Tiggy. I'm going to check out prices here in Aus and see what they are. Dog beds are really expensive here too. |
What a great idea! Mady is like Chewie and doesn't use beds, but maybe we should get one for the next time Virginia and Morgan visit. |
What an awesome idea! I think Phoebe would destroy it but the other dogs would love one.... |
Great idea and what pampered pups! |
We had an old dog bed left from our previous dogs...Izzie never took a liking to it. It ended up out on our deck and she would snooze on it occasionally during the winter. She prefers to lounge on the sofa and sleep on my bed. Not spoiled at all In her crate I ended up giving her a blanket, and then folding up another blanket in an old pillow sham...so much more washable than most dog stuff. A baby bed is something to keep in mind for future pups |
What a GREAT idea! I have been buying the big dog bed pillows at Costco for $18 but they do flatten down and the covers are washable. I will be looking @ crib mattresses |
I have been thinking about a crib mattress for Nigel too since I took down his crate. Great idea! |
