I will wait to post pictures of my own as to not get over-excited. Until we have the pup in our arms and on the way home, I'm going to be nervous haha. Just wanted to keep you all up to date as you've offered words of advice and encouragement which have been much appreciated. |

Good luck Hoping this is the real thing and you have your puppy..and we get pictures! |
Congrats!!! We do need pictures. Both of them so we can salivate...guess which one is yours... |
Ok fine |
hmmm, in pictures they both look cute! It will be nice to see personalities for you. What do you plan to do w/ your puppy? The breeder should have been able to help you figure out the one that will best fit you and what you want from your pup. |
The bottom guy is more outgoing which is not necessarily best for us which is one reason we preference the first one. It's just a companion puppy for us |
Rob, knowing the history here, I couldn't be happier for you!!! Looking at the photos, you can't loose either way; they're both beautiful! The fact that the breeder wanted to meet you prior to making a final decision speaks volumes for them. Keep us posted and you know the rules... PHOTOS PHOTOS PHOTOS! Vance |
hmmm, between "socks" and "full boots".........whichever one you are drawn too, both are adorable. |

It's just a companion puppy for us While there's no guarantee they will stay that way, odds are in your favor to pick the one that is calmer as a puppy. We had a massive backfire example of that with the lab we had before Biscuit. Tater - he was so calm, laid back for almost a year. Then when he matured, he developed ADHD!! Total opposite, and he was a difficult dog to live with. I KNOW if he had been a regular pet home, he would have ended up dropped off in a shelter...he was just a lot of dog to live with. Not mean, but overwhelming in intensity and activity needs. It was hard for us to keep him busy enough...I couldn't imagine him working out as someone's pet.... |
Yeah, I know the personalities can change quite a bit over time but we had immediately loved the first puppy when she sent the original pictures (well once they weren't the size of my hand haha) so I think it will be the one we end up getting. The funny thing is that the Saints (NFL Team) play tomorrow and the NFL starts this weekend as well. If you only knew how big of a Saints die-hard fan I was (and NFL in general) you'd realize that this is potentially the greatest week in my life!!!! |
I think it's great the breeder is showing you both puppies and the one you want is the one that works out the best for you. They are adorable so might be hard to choose. |
Good luck! |
Yay! Kenny and Schubert can play together in Cincinnati!!!!! I think it's great that the breeder is letting you meet and choose. We didn't get to know which one would be our boy until 2 days before our trip!!! By the power of the starts and the universe, our breeder gave us the pick of the litter and he was also my first choice out of 9 puppies!!! So... cheers to your new puppy~ I CAN'T WAIT |
YAY! They are both adorable! Good luck! Cindy |
Lets do some simple math here folks. That's THREE new Sheepie puppies in the SW Ohio area in TWO months!!! Sounds like the SW Ohio area is VERY Sheepie friendly. Can't wait for the first outing with the three new kids on the block! OK, so there's no real math there, but it is pretty cool! Vance |
They are both so darn cute it would be hard to chose...take both! |
I agree. You need both. I couldn't choose either. Yup, both |
