Typical, had the heat on for a few minutes this morning. We go from the a/c to heat in a matter of days, sometimes the same day. |

| We were at 90 degrees F this past weekend and muggier than a SOB. On Monday, a cold front moved into the area and brought an ALL day rain and temps in the mid 60s. Today was dry but cloudy & cool (low to mid 60s). Tomorrow, the front moves backwards on top of us AND the remnants of T.S. Lee will set us up for 2 straight days of non-stop rain with temps in the 60s. There's a 20% chance of rain on Friday and HOPEFULLY we will clear out & warm to the mid 70s by the weekend, that is if hurricane Katia moves far enough east. What a week to take off.  |
| We escaped the frost danger, lowest was 41 on Saturday morning. Beautiful weather here...thanks to some storms east of us putting a nice bulge in the jet stream....  |
| 41 is cold enough to nip some squash, hopefully you'll get warmer nights for awhile. |
| I hate this!!!!!!!! Get up in the morning and its quite cool...this morning it was 54 degrees. Thats downright cold. It warmed into the 60's hours later. No shorts today. Yesterday was the dog swim but it was again in the 60's and thats tooooo cold for me. Where are my 70's and 80's???? |

| After covering everything with every sheet I had we are fine. Don't really even think we got frost but they were predicting it for the northern part of the county and we're kind of on the edge. Better safe than sorry and yes the 80's are coming again which I hate. Give me 70 and I'm happy. Of course we'll be dry again too, bare spots in the grass that need re-seeding and water. |
| Good! Better safe than sorry. Not uncommon to have a frost and then a long Indian Summer after. If you can get your garden past that frost then more weeks of harvest. Overcast today........very unusual for here. Doubt it will last all day, but if it keeps temps down, great. I love the low 80s and 70s. Wait!! I hear RAIN.........before Noon? This is weird. I better find Harry, he'll be a wreck, he's a desert dog. |
| Typical Midwest weather. Straight from summer to winter with no autumn. Heat in the morning, a/c in the evening. I like it this chilly. My body is still dispersing the heat it stored from all those 90 degree plus days. |
