My dog is super sensitive to fleas, which we found out the hard way, but my vet suggested using Revolution. It's very similiar to all the others but has a slightly different composition. Since not that many people know about it the fleas, ticks, etc. haven't had enough exposure to the product in order to mutate and resist it. I don't apply it every month but it seems to really do a good job in keeping those small, pesky critters off Rupert, my two angora bunnies, and my guinea pig. Obviously we used small doses for the small pets but the fleas were using the small guys as safe havens before jumping back onto Rupert. Ask your vet if they know of Revolution and whether it would be a good answer to your problem. |
I will never use revolution again, I used it when Lily was a puppy but one time it started melting the hair on the back of her neck and now I'll never use it again. We use advantage II |
We just switched to Comfortis after wasting our money on Pet Armor from WalMart. This stuff is GREAT!!! We'll be sticking with it for years to come I'm sure. Vance |
We use Revolution on our cat. One of my friends who breeds and shows TFT's (Toy Fox Terriers) uses Revolution exclusively on her dogs, also her husband's dogs, and they have no issues what so ever. Daughter Lisa's little mix breed Vivi had a bad reaction to Heartgard resulting in an emergency vet trip...., so she's on Revolution too. Not all work for all dogs, like any drug , so it's good to have options. |
