If it happens again I will be one of those doggie mom's that show up at the emergency vet with a perfectly normal looking dog that just wants to play. Kathy |

reverse sneeze http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=reverse+sneezing+in+dogs&mid=FEC8C22DB07C51212479FEC8C22DB07C51212479&view=detail&FORM=VIRE1 |
Not as noisy but very similar. Okay now the tough question.....why? Should I call the Vet?? |
If they continue the reverse sneeze yes. It means they have a cold or the flu... The vet says it is kinda like a human. A lot of sneezing means your body is trying to fight something. |
It's the weirdest thing, isn't it? Below is an article on reverse sneezing from Drs. Foster & Smith. http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm ... 6&aid=1112 |
Fight the urge to rush to the vet and grab your video camera instead so we can see what it looks like in a sheepdog. Anything like this? |
Thank you Ron for posted video. I have seen that happen years ago to my dogs and never knew what it was. I thought it was a form of hyperventilating or they couldn't catch their breath? |
