OESCA National Rescue Parade
Each year at the OESCA National Specialty there is a rescue parade for those of us with rescues to show off our pups in the ring! This year it is in Hickory, NC so, if you can attend please do so! We are all proud of our puppers but, it sure does melt your heart to see them prance around the ring! Last year's turnout was amazing. Probably the biggest I've ever seen (wonder if it had anything to do with the NEOESR sponsored goodie bags?  ) We could barely fit all of the entrants in the ring, and this was not some ordinary ring either - soon after the rescue dogs took their bows (OK, in Dazzle's case, leaps) the dogs competing for Best in Breed filed in. I was amazed. Wonder if there's that level of support for rescue in the Carolinas?  Kristine |
