Updates on puppy
Everyone here. It definitely helps us getting through this difficult time. So Lolly went back to the breeder since our vet suggested that there’s no way she’ll make it. We listened to the breeder's suggestion and got another puppy from a different breeder. It’s kind of a long story and we are not proud of how quickly we got a new puppy (I know some people will judge and I don't blame you). It’s just impossible to go home without a dog once you've had one. We miss Lolly terribly everyday. We are hoping for miracles and if she turns out fine, we’ll take her back home anytime. No matter what happens, Lolly will always have a very special place in our hearts. The new puppy’s name is Faye Faye. She’s a bit older (13 .5 weeks old) and such a sweetheart. She is one happy healthy pup! Fluffy Faye Faye  |

| I don't think that anyone would judge you for getting another puppy so quickly. Luckily hearts are big enough to love more than one puppy at a time!! |
Awe Faye Faye looks like a sweet girl.  Of course Lolly will hold a very special place in your heart along with she is with her mommy being taken care of. Looking forward to hearing all about Faye Faye! Robin |

No one will judge you here. Or I'll kick their teeth in  (I'm from Jersey, can you tell?) You did what you needed to do and that's that. Just promise you'll save a spot in your heart for Lolly and all will be right in the world. I wish that if I ever got sick, I could spend my days with my mum; but she's already waiting at a bridge somewhere, prolly cursing about something if I know her.Now on to Faye Faye. | Congratulations on Faye Faye! She is adorable! Who cares what others think, anyway.... Why should you not be happy and have another puppy right away? I'm glad that you did what you did. You can't have an empty home after waiting for the right puppy and then finding out she was sick. It wasn't your fault, and you are lucky to now have Faye Faye in your life.... and Lolly will obviously always hold a special place in your Now enjoy all of the puppy love and licks ....and nips and yips  |

| I'm with Kristine; not only would I never judge, but I was worried for you. I cried when I read your post, and I thought: "its probably insensitive, but they need to get another puppy immediately!" There's nothing you could have done to help Lolly other than exactly what you did- return her to her mother at the breeders and let her live out her life there. But to then sit home and mourn the loss, and dwell on the sadness-- that's no good to anyone. And the only cure for that particular kind of sadness is of course another puppy! Its damned hard to be sad with a puppy around. I'm so glad you were able to find another pup so quickly! As Kristine said, No one should ever be sheepdogless. Hugs; Allison |

| No judging here. I'm so sorry about Lolly and I think we all cried with you. Getting a new pup right away is the right thing for you and if people judge you for that, have them go through the same thing and see what they do. I'm glad you've let us know what is going on because I've been thinking about you also. Very cute baby by the way. |

| Ditto she is just adorable and so glad you have another little sweetie to love. I actually had tears in my eyes reading this, happy tears for you all. Heartbreak before but a happy ending and no one will ever judge you and only wholeheartadly support what you have been through recently. | I know Lolly wormed herself into a special, permanent place in your hearts. I'm glad your hearts were big enough for another puppy, and I'm sure Lolly will be happy that her brief time with you didn't prevent you from having a sheepie in your life. Of course, praying for a miracle for sweet Lolly, or at least, having love and comfort from her mum. |

| I think you should be proud of how quickly you found another puppy. It proves that you have a loving heart and also demonstrates that no matter how long or how briefly we have an OES in our lives, they mold a special place in our hearts that only an OES can fill. The situation with Lolly is heartbreaking for all. I am sure you have made the best decisions for all concerned. How could anyone fault you for letting her go back to her first home, to live out her days? Or for wanting to fill that void? Best wishes for a long and happy life together! |
| I agree with the others. You did what you had to do and now you have a new baby to love. Faye Faye is adorable. You will always have a place in your heart for Lolly but your heart will just grow to include your new little bundle.  |
