I am looking for an OES puppy, my family has lots of love and a great home to offer! I just cannot spend over 500 dollars to buy one.... Please if you know anyone with an OES mix or pure breed email me at reedchandler@live.com. We live and Huntsville, AL and are willing to pay for a puppy to be shipped to us! Or drive to get one thank you, Chandler |

Have you thought about adopting an adult rescue dog? We have a rescue right in here in our "back yard" so to speak. Check out the OESRNSE Facebook Page at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Old-En ... 3118938647 . |
Yes, a rescue is a great way to go. We have had many sheepies in our life, but our one rescue is really special. He has issues (oh man, does he have issues) but he's coming along, and he's so grateful for everything. I've never before had a dog who insisted on kissing you thank you after every single meal, who looks genuinely surprised and thrilled that he's being fed again, will snuggle on the bed with a look of pure joy on his face, and has to kiss you goodnight every single night before settling in to sleep. They know what you've done for them and they never forget. Rudy actually seems to miss us when he sleeps. There's a whole welcome back ritual he goes through whenever he wakes up. It's so endearing. You may not find a puppy, but you might find a reasonably young one, or you may take in an adult who is greatly in need and meet the light of your life. Start with local rescues, but you can also branch out as a few will work longer distance. We brought our Rudy to Winnipeg from Florida. We're pretty sure he was out there, waiting for us to find him. We're just sorry we didn't get to him sooner. |
Rescue dogs know they're getting a second chance at life and pass along that enthusiasm and great-fullness. They are the root of all good karma. We've had two and have seen this first hand, daily. Vance |
