http://www.ottawasun.com/2011/08/15/pet ... ts-on-cats I can understand people who wish to be vegans for themselves (it's a bit Quixotic, but whatever). But for your carnivorous pet???? And I believe cats are even more strictly carnivorous than dogs. And on a related note, I loved this article from the New York Times on plants' will to live: "Sorry, Vegans: Brussels Sprouts Like to Live, Too" http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/22/science/22angi.html All life strives to live, and (non-human) life only willingly sacrifices itself for the sake of reproducing more life. And that is the same whether it's cattle, tomatoes, or bacteria. |

Oh my yes. I know if I make any kind of a wrong move at the wrong time it could lead to fatal consequences. Something about any month with an "R" in it is OK. Or is not OK. I forget. Or was it any day of the week not ending with the the letter "Y"? The memory is the second thing to go. |
I just hope the artificial supplements are somehow made from animal by products...... nothing like starving animal to get it to eat veggies and calling that ethical. |
