I am sorry for your sadness, losing our best friend is so devastating. The one sure bright light is all the good memories of joy Pooh brought you throughout the years. Pooh will send you another sheepdog very soon. Your time will come when you least expect it, until then remember all the great times with Pooh. |
I am so very sorry, also Your pup will come, please keep the faith... Robin |
I fully understand being so sad over your Poohbear, but don't be so sad about missing this rescue, I am sure there are far more dogs out there needing rescue than people willing to adopt. You will find another sheepdog if you're willing, and it will be the one you're meant to have. |
Oh honey, I'm sorry you feel so bad. I understand about missing your Pooh Bear and missing out on the little girl. But there are so many sheepies who need furever homes and you will find the one that is meant for you. Just keep your heart open and it will be filled. |
I went thru the same thing before we got Butch and know just how you feel. |
I am so grateful for everyone on this forum. You understand how I feel about the loss of Pooh. Most people don't understand how the sadness there is for a long time. I don't think people realize how much dogs become part of your family and the loss is profound. A big thank you to everyone for understanding!!!! |
Have you contacted Midwest OES Rescue? They typically have quite a few dogs! Good Luck! |
I understand how you feel about Pooh Bear because I lost my Gracie the end of June. I still have Abbey, my Golden, and Oliver, my sheepie but it does not minimize the terrible loss. All rescues. Grace did not have a great start in life. She was my velcro girl. Always giving me kisses and snuggles, wanted to be with me all the time including the bathroom. This little girl loved and trusted me 100,000%!!!! I promised her I would never let anyone or thing hurt her again and I would always protect her. I couldn't protect her from cancer. I still cry a lot because I miss her terribly. I have so many great memories of her but I wish I had more pictures. I smile and laugh when I think of her but I'm still sad she is gone. When the time is right, you will find your new sheepie and I firmly believe that. Pooh will make sure you get the one (or 2?) that need you the most and will be perfect for you. Hang in there, It WILL happen!!! |
