Frankie let me pluck his ears

I am so excited. Frankie let me pluck his ears. Usually we have to take him to the vet to be put out. Or when he has a procedure done they pluck them then. Yay for Frankie.

Just had to share.

Yay!

Don't be surprised if you hear your doorbell ring and Tonks is on your doorstep with a small suitcase. Please work you magic on HER ears. :headbang:
Chewie has no issues with ear plucking...I'm the one who puts it off!

So can I send him too??
Good boy Frankie. :clappurple: And well done, Mom!
Good boy Frankie...you did it!!!! :yay:

All those folks poking and proding him has resulted in him trusting! Hooray! Who says he's not very smart! He's a fast learner!
That's such great news! Way to go Frankie!

Sweet! I can actually leave them for you?? :yay:

I just had to pull some obvious nasty ones earlier this week.... as I could no longer ignore them. I would have been appalled if someone on a TDI visit or worse - a training student - had flipped his ear over....

I am not a squeamish person, this is just a bizarre hangup. And perhaps genetic, as LeAnne has the same issue, and she worked as a nurse aid and does OT now. 8) 8) We both do way grosser stuff in everyday life.

Frankie is such a good boy!

I am with Dawn on the ick factor regarding ears. I have, in another career, done the tube feeding thing, enemas, catheterizations, been puked on, pooped on, peed on, no problem. But can't clean Mady's ears, David has to do it. Even though she has great ears, no plucking needed and they are pretty clean. If not for David, I would have to pay a vet tech to do it. So you and Frankie are to be congratulated!
Weird you guys who cope with body fluids. I nearly puke myself at the smell of vomit but I'm with Kristine, I love plucking ears. I am especially pleased if I pluck one of those long twisty hair and ear wax clumps out. It gives me a sense of achievement!
Yay Frankie!!

Izzie doesn't need much plucking or cleaning. A baby wipe or two a week...using it to clean and pull hair at the same time works for her :phew: Occasionally they are dirtier than normal and I find satisfaction in getting them clean :D
I don't mid doing ears at all. And I will even wipe them out with white vinegar. Then I call the pickel ears. I absolutely HATE expressing the anal glands. YUCK!!!!! :twitch:
