Then I look at Simon...he is having the time of his life. He loves it. No matter how many times I flubb it, he is willing, able, and ready to do it again, and again, and one more time(I flubb it alot) Last night at class I was asked what the arms straight out to the sides were I told Sue, the instructor, that I've been told I do that alot(really need to work on not doing this). First time I've ever heard Sue laugh like that. I looked over at Kristine on the sidelines and said "haven't I?" and she nodded her head in assent. Why do I keep doing this to myself???? |

I bet if you changed it now, he would look at you quizzically and wonder what was going on. I mean, how can he get over the jump if Mama doesn't stir up the air first with her arms? |
Right Kim! I was thinking it was the command to "fly over the jump." |
Hahaha Pam, I think you look great in the photos. You are right there with the signal!! I bet Simon wouldnt have it any other way! |
That 2nd picture isn't bad! You're making a nice turn, body language says turn....so maybe it keeps you from tipping over!!! |
looks right, like a peter pam signal for lift. |

Because you're both improving in leaps and bounds and he loves it and it shows. The sports bra collection is incidental to the process, but helpful Kristine |
I know what you mean about getting hot. Halfway through last agility, I tried to bail out and told David to do it, I was too out of shape. He said, yeah, Kim, that is kind of the point, this will help us GET in shape. But if it makes you feel better, Pam, when you and Dawn and Judi ran that course at Sheepiepalooza, it was very inspirational for David, Mady and I. So your pain has been worth it on many levels! |
No that "airplane stance" actually has a function......air out the armpits with the all sweating from running around what else are we to do. I myself use this maneuver on occasion |
Good one! KB |
You didn't play basketball or somesuch in a previous life did you? Aussie gals play a lot of netball (not sure if you play that over there) and you look like you've played a lot of netball to me. You have your arms out all time in netball for two reasons . 1. Lots of twisting and turning and stop/start so they're out for balance and 2. You're supposed to block the ball as the other team passes it by you. On the other hand you might just be like me; very, very unco-ordinated and need extra balance. I'd be using the sport excuse personally. See below. |
